Saro Agrosciences has grown into a leading player in the agriculture industry. Since inception, we have reached over 10 million farmers, this includes small, medium, and large-scale farmers.

This has also made us collaborate with developmental agencies that execute initiatives with social impact around farmers and families in the rural areas.

Having started in 1991 with our foremost Fungicide, Mackecknie Gold, today our portfolio has expanded into more than 40 unique brands.

In 1996, Saro commenced an extensive Consumer engagement and connection with a view to impart the right knowledge to Nigerian farmers and trade partners, by 1999 Saro Agrosciences Limited Pioneered the First Graduate Trainee programme.

In 2020, the twin shock of COVID-19 Pandemic & Oil Price Crisis had untold impact on the global economy and Nigeria was not an exception.

However, the resilient internal value chain, partnerships and collaboration built over the years served us in good stead, as we continued to serve the Nigerian farmers during the trying times. In 2021, we consolidated on market leadership and scaled-up our import substitution initiatives.
