Ogirinye Innocent Adoga
Ogirinye Innocent is a serial and social Agripreneur with over eleven (11) years’ experience across public, private and social sectors and has developed and implemented innovative Agribusiness strategies that addresses different economic and social problems across Agribusiness value chains. Innocent has served in several Agricultural Project design and implementation committees/partner at the Local, National and international level for several organizations including Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of united Nations, African Union Commission (AUC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), Winrock International, Association of Deans of Agriculture in Nigeria Universities (ADAN) and others. He has worked as a based-level Consultant to FOA/AUC for the design of Rwanda Government Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization Programme in 2016 and has consulted for several other private Agribusinesses.
Innocent holds a combined Honours Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) in Agricultural Economics, Management and Extension from Ebonyi State University and a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Development from University of Abuja with specialty in Gender and Agriculture Development. He holds several other proficiency certificates in Agricultural project Development, management, financing, trade facilitation, value chain development from both local and international institutions and he is Trained Facilitator of Colombia Business School Rural Entrepreneurial Venture Creation and Experimental Learning (REVCEL Business) module
Innocent was the Project Coordinator of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) led Private Sector Driven Agricultural Mechanization Programme (PSDAMP) between 2013 to 2017 under the Advisory Ministerial Mechanization Committee (AMMC). And Later as Head of Project, Coordination (HPC) at Nigerian Agricultural Mechanization & Equipment Leasing Company (NAMEL), a PPP involving NAMEL, Federal Government of Nigeria, John Deere and other Equipment vendors prior to founding Seed & Mech Hubs.
He is a Serial Agripreneur and Agribusiness investment expert and previously Founded Youth Initiative for Sustainable Agriculture (YISA) Nigeria in 2011, Mr. Farm Price, among several others including Magpaty Farms.
He also doubles as the initiator/Strategic Team Lead of Agripreneurship Incubation & Mentorship (AIM) Program, a joint program of YISA-Nigeria and the Association of Deans of Agriculture in Nigeria Universities (ADAN) cutting across 49 Faculties and Colleges of Agriculture. This gives him an unfiltered access to the best brains in Agriculture for project consultations.
